Brief Description: Sump replacement to a Cold Air Superior Sump #1
When I acquired the engine, I didn't know that the sump was a Ryton sump. I knew it wasn't a standard sump, but was surprised to hear from Clint at Vetterman about the issues with it. I sent photos of the sump to Clint when ordering my exhaust and he picked it off.
I contacted Superior and to their credit, the replaced the sump for free.
I pulled the engine off of the mount and oput it back on the engine stand and prepped it for draining. I purchased a brand new clean bucket and drained the inhibiting oil.
Rolled it upside down and removed all of the nuts and bolts and cleaned the old gasket off.
